The Scientific Programm will include invited Plenary lectures, Keynote lectures, Oral Communications, Student Paper Communications and Poster Communications.

Student Paper Communications - SPC - will consist in Flash-Oral talks only for students, without any additional time for questions, providing an opportunity for young scientists to present and advert (oral) and further discuss (poster) their works.

During the submission process:

  • authors must use the abstract template and should strictly follow the Abstract Guidelines detailed in the abstract template. Abstracts MUST be submitted in MS Word format or any compatible file formats.
  • the file MUST be named as Name.Surname_x.doc, corresponding to the Presenting Author (as in John.Doe_1.doc). The number corresponds to the number of submitted abstracts by the same presenting author.
  • do not add any supplementary data, all information should be contained in the 1-page abstract
  • select in the scrolling menu the main conference topics relevant for your communication
  • indicate relevant keywords

In the fields of photocatalysis, photothermal catalysis, photoelectrochemistry or photovoltaic, topics of interest for submission to SP8 include, but are not limited to:

  • solar to electricity conversion
  • air and water remediation
  • solar fuels
  • organicsynthesis and solar chemicals
  • modelling and mechanistic studies
  • chemical engineering
  • new materials
  • operando/in-situ characterization
  • commercial applications and standardization
  • functionalized and self-cleaning surfaces
  • others

After acceptance of your abstract, you will be invited to indicate if you plan to contribute to one of the Special Issues of SP 8.
